Stagecoach Supports Children in Need Appeal

Stagecoach South launched a special ‘Pudsey’ bus in support of the BBC Children in Need Appeal.

The Portsmouth depot team introduced the yellow double decker bus in the days leading up to the appeal day – Friday 17th November 2023.

The bus was seen out and about across the Havant & Portsmouth area.

Colin Ashcroft, Operations Manager for Stagecoach in Portsmouth  said "We are very proud to be supporting Children-in-Need. The 'Pudsey' bus was well received by the communities we serve across the Havant and Portsmouth area. It was also great to see members of our staff to ‘go yellow’ on Appeal Day!”

The bus company raised £230 for the charity.

Children in Need are a BBC corporate charity that aims to improve the lives of children all across the country. Since the first major appeal in 1980, the charity has raised over £1 billion for disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.
