Carol Sim has hopped onboard at Stagecoach South as Operations Director, to will drive service delivery across the Stagecoach South network, from 9 depot locations across Hampshire, Surrey & West Sussex.
Carol brings with her 21 years of bus industry experience, and joins Stagecoach South from First Bus, where she was Head of Operations for the South of England.
Carol’s bus career started in 2003, as a bus driver for First Bus in Yeovil. Carol then progressed within the business, moving into various leadership roles, including Supervisor and Operations Manager, before becoming Head of Operations in 2021.
Additionally, in 2019, Carol also undertook the role of Engineering Change Management Leader, implementing an Engineering Management System to improve efficiency.
Carol was recently presented as the winner of the Route One “Rising Star” Award.
Reporting to Marc Reddy, Managing Director for Stagecoach South, Carol will lead the Operations team, including Bus Drivers, Supervisors, Controllers and Operations Managers.

Stagecoach South operates over 400 buses from 9 depot locations across Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex.
