Graham Kent's Lifesaving Efforts Shine Alongside His Work as a Coach Builder
We are proud to highlight the incredible achievement of Graham Kent, a highly skilled Coach Builder at our Chichester depot, who has recently qualified as a Station Head Launcher with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI). This significant milestone reflects his dedication to both his professional role and his commitment to serving his community.
Graham’s journey with the RNLI began in 2021, following a life-changing event in 2020 when he was involved in a serious accident. Determined to give back to the community that supported him, Graham joined the RNLI’s Shoreham crew, fulfilling a long-held interest in emergency services.
As a key member of the shore crew, Graham plays a vital role in the launching and recovery of the RNLI’s lifeboats. These vessels are essential to the lifesaving operations carried out at sea and his work is crucial in ensuring the safety of both crew members and those in distress.
Despite the demands of his day job, Graham dedicates his spare time to volunteering, demonstrating a commitment to making a positive impact. His passion for helping others, combined with his professional expertise, sets a remarkable example for all of us.
In recognition of Graham’s extraordinary service, Stagecoach has created a specially designed rear panel on one of its buses, celebrating his achievements. This tribute showcases Graham’s dual role as both a Coach Builder and a Station Head Launcher for the RNLI, illustrating the powerful impact of his contributions. The custom design not only honours Graham but also highlights the importance of community service and volunteering.
We here at Stagecoach, could not be prouder of Graham’s accomplishment. His hard work and dedication, both in his role at our company and through his volunteer work with the RNLI, are truly inspiring.
Graham’s story is a reminder of the difference one person can make. We celebrate his achievement and thank him for his invaluable contributions to both our team and the wider community.
