Throughout all weekends in September, our bus services within the boundaries of Portsmouth City are completely free! This initiative is the perfect opportunity for both locals and visitors to explore the city's streets and experience the vibrant LOOKUP Street Art Festival. 

On the weekend of 14th and 15th September, Portsmouth will be buzzing with creativity as the LOOKUP Street Art Festival takes over the city. This year, the festival showcases 117 talented international, national, and local artists who will be painting permanent murals on 30 buildings throughout Portsmouth. Key locations include the Gunwharf Quays railway arches, Alec Rose Lane’s multi-storey car park, and the Portsmouth Museum and Art Gallery.

LOOKUP is not just about art, it’s about celebrating diversity in the creative world. With a strong focus on female street artists and under-represented groups, the festival is pushing boundaries and expanding the scope of high-quality street art, bringing the world’s best talent to Portsmouth’s doorstep. Whether you’re an art enthusiast or simply curious, this is a chance to witness creativity come to life in unexpected places.

For those feeling inspired, visit the Creative Corner, where kids and adults alike can join in with pavement chalks, paints, and markers – all for free.
