Stagecoach West Scotland has today announced they are launching a new evening ticket in Ayr and Prestwick.
Locals heading out in the evening can take advantage of massive savings when travelling by bus with the new ticket costing just £2.50 for unlimited travel after 6.30pm on services within Ayr and Prestwick (Ayr Zone 1).
The new evening ticket launches on Friday 8th November and will be available to buy on board, seven days a week, after 6.30pm. The bus company are keen to make it easier and more affordable for local people to be able to get out in the evenings to local restaurants, pubs and theatres.
Fiona Doherty, Managing Director said: ““It’s a sociable time of year, so if you’re heading out, just take the bus and relax, knowing that we’ll get you there and safely home again without any hassle. Our new evening ticket makes the bus an even easier option than ever before – we look forward to seeing you onboard.”
As well launching the new ticket, the bus company have partnered with restaurants to offer discounts for those dining in the local area. Vito’s Ayr and Prestwick, The Tudor and the Rupee Room are all offering various discounts and offers, full details can be found on the Stagecoach Bus website.
