Stagecoach West Scotland support Scottish Cyclocross Event

Stagecoach West Scotland are supporting Scottish Cyclocross Association’s bicycle racing event at Irvine Beach Park on 26th and 27th October.

Britain's finest Cyclocross racers will gather at Irvine Beach Park to compete in round 3 of the HSBC UK National Trophy Cyclocross series. This fast and exciting sport is one of the stars of the cycling scene with riders tackling off road courses with sand sections, mud, barriers and steep run-ups.

The bus company’s open top vehicle will be parked adjacent to the boating pond and will be an ideal viewing platform for spectators hoping to catch a glimpse of the action around the 2.8km course.

As well as this, Stagecoach’s ever popular Youth Express bus will also be at the beach park. The Youth Express has free WiFi, and Xbox One, a gaming PC,  a projector, a Smart TV, Bluetooth speakers and an air hockey table that will be open to everyone attending the event.

Fiona Doherty, Stagecoach West Scotland Managing Director said: “We’re delighted to support this popular cycling event for the second year running by providing our buses for spectators and volunteers to enjoy. I hope everyone has a great time and the weather stays dry on the day!”
