Santa Claus called on the help of Stagecoach to deliver presents all over West Scotland after Rudolph ate one too many mince pies. But he left one very important present for Mrs Claus behind.
Taylor Owen, aged eight from Kilmarnock, spotted Mrs Claus’ present while travelling to Mount Carmel Primary School after Santa put out a video appeal to local children across West Scotland.
Santa was overwhelmed by the response from children who joined in the search. And to say thank you, Santa Claus has promised a special video call for Taylor and his family on Christmas Eve.
Pam Owen, Taylor’s Mum, said: “We’re so excited to have a call with Santa on Christmas Eve. Thank you to Stagecoach for organising such a wonderful competition and of course to Santa for taking time out of his busy schedule to speak to Taylor and our family”.
Fiona Doherty, Managing Director at Stagecoach West Scotland said: “We wanted to organise a Christmas competition that everyone could get involved in, the search to find Santa’s missing present has been a huge success and it was fantastic to hear how excited Taylor and his family are to speak to Santa on Christmas Eve.
“We would like to say a huge thank you to all the children across West Scotland who took part.”
