To support our passengers getting to appointments at the Citadel in Ayr, we will be operating a FREE shuttle service starting on Saturday 6th February until Wednesday 10th February. This complementary service is only for those travelling to the Citadel for their Covid-19 vaccination appointment.
The shuttle service will operate as a pickup only from Prestwick Cross, Grangemuir Road, Prestwick Toll and the Citadel and a drop off service only at Prestwick Toll, Grangemuir Road and Prestwick Cross. The same Covid-19 guidelines apply, reduced capacity, social distancing, windows open and face coverings at all times (unless medically exempt).
Fiona Doherty, Managing Director of Stagecoach West Scotland, said: “During these challenging times, we know how important continued availability of transport is to local communities and key workers across the west of Scotland.
We are pleased to support our customers who need to get to the Citadel in Ayr for their vaccination appointment with this new, free shuttle service.
We want local passengers to know that we will continue to provide lifeline transport options for key workers to get across the west of Scotland.”
