Plan ahead for a weekend of partying!

The Pavilion Festival in Ayr this weekend is set to be one of the best events of the year. With large crowds, traffic, and parking hassles choose the smart way to get there – the bus!

We’re inviting all ravers and festival-goers to make traveling to and from the event a breeze by opting for the bus.  Our bus app allows you to plan your journeys, track where your bus is and buy your tickets in advance to speed up boarding times.

Travelling by bus is not only more convenient, but it’s also more environmentally friendly.  But that’s not all, travelling by bus is significantly cheaper than other ways to travel.

Under 22’s heading to the festival can travel for free on all Stagecoach bus services with a valid NEC or Young Scot Card. And, if you’re over 22 travelling with a large group of friends, you can all make huge savings by buying a Group DayRider on the app.  You’ll get unlimited travel for up to five people on the day of purchase.

Our buses will be running as planned over the weekend, and you can get from Buchanan Bus Station to Ayr Bus Station every 30 minutes on Saturday onboard the X77, the last bus back to Glasgow via Kilmarnock will leave Ayr at 21:40pm so give yourself plenty of time to get back from the beach.

On Sunday the X77 operates every hour from Buchanan Bus Station and the last bus back to Glasgow via Kilmarnock will leave Ayr Bus Station at 20:40pm.

Local Ayrshire bus services to and from Ayr operate frequently over the weekend and the easiest way to plan a journey is with the Stagecoach Bus App.  Ayr Bus Station is a short 5 minute walk to the low green making it the ideal choice to get to the event.
