East Ayrshire Council refurbishment of Kilmarnock Bus Station continues with changes to bus pick-up points

As refurbishment works continue at Kilmarnock Bus Station, there are some important changes to stances taking place over the coming months.

For 18 weeks, beginning on 13^th February 2023, some stances within the station will not be accessible to buses.

To help avoid customer disruption, Stagecoach bus services 3, 6 and 7 heading to Bellfield and Shortless will depart from the bus stop outside the Palace Theatre on Sturrock Street.  The same services heading to Newfarm and Onthank will depart from the bus stop at the viaducts on Green Street. 

Both stops are within close proximity to Kilmarnock Bus Station (across the road).

The improvement works at Kilmarnock Bus Station began in 2019 and are taking place in different phases to avoid as much disruption to passengers and the local community as possible, with continued high quality services being offered in Kilmarnock and across Ayrshire.
