School’s out for summer and Stagecoach has announced the launch of “Nature By Bus” an exciting competition designed to inspire young people to hop on board the bus, explore the stunning beaches and local parks and capture the magic of their journeys through the lens of their cameras during the school holidays.
From feeding the ducks and building sandcastles to chasing pigeons and discovering hidden treasures, we want young people to share their fun-filled bus adventures and have the chance to win some great prizes.
Fiona Doherty, Managing Director, Stagecoach West Scotland said: “This is an excellent opportunity for young people to use their free bus pass and explore the beautiful nature we have across West Scotland. Our buses travel through natural, scenic routes every day and we’re looking forward to seeing what photos are taken by our young passengers. By encouraging bus travel during the school holidays, we hope to instill sustainable travel habits and promote the benefits of public transport in reducing carbon emissions.”
Parents, teachers and guardians are encouraged to join in the excitement and embark on memorable bus journeys together. With frequent bus services to Ayrshire, Glasgow and Dumfries & Galloway it’s a great opportunity to explore by bus during the summer holidays.
Let’s create a summer filled with laughter, adventure and picture perfect moments!
The competition will run until 18th August, selected photos will be displayed throughout the summer on the bus company’s Twitter page and website. Participants can submit their entries through our dedicated web page at https://www.stagecoachbus.com/promos-and-offers/west-scotland/nature-by-bus-2023 , where they can also find detailed guidelines, terms and conditions.
