  • Ayr United supporters to benefit from discounted £3 Ayr DayRider tickets on home matchdays
  • Exclusive offer available through the Stagecoach Bus App using a club-issued discount code
  • New deal launches for the Honest Men’s home match against Partick Thistle on Saturday 6 December

Ayr United supporters are set to receive an early Christmas gift as Stagecoach and the club have teamed up to offer discounted bus travel to Somerset Park on home matchdays.

Supporters will be able to purchase a £3 Ayr DayRider ticket via the Stagecoach Bus App, using an exclusive discount code distributed directly by the club.

The offer applies on Ayr United home matchdays only and will start for the Honest Men’s crucial fixture against fellow promotion contenders Partick Thistle on Saturday 6 December (kick-off 3pm).

With Ayr Bus Station just over a mile from Somerset Park and multiple services (services 3, 6, 43 or 43A) stopping close to the ground, the new travel deal provides a cost-effective and convenient option for supporters travelling from the town and surrounding areas as they cheer the team on in their push towards the Scottish Premiership.

Martin Tocker, General Manager at Ayr United, said:

“We are excited to partner with Stagecoach again. We think this is a great offer for Ayr United fans, especially for families travelling in from the surrounding area. It highlights the benefits of a community partnership and two local organisations working together to benefit local people.”

Fraser Smith, Commercial Director at Stagecoach South Scotland, said:

“Customers are at the heart of everything we do and Stagecoach are proud to be a central part of people’s everyday lives in Ayr.

“It was fantastic when we teamed up with Ayr United recently for the Night Before Christmas campaign – it showed the positive difference that can be made to people in the town when two local organisations work together.

“This new partnership is the start of something really exciting and it is great that United supporters will benefit from this great value arrangement.”
