Stagecoach Supports South Ayrshire Communities Fun Day with Free Shuttle Service

• Stagecoach is providing a free shuttle service for the South Ayrshire Communities Fun Day.

• Attendees can see the iconic Stagecoach open-top bus and the new Enviro 400EV double-decker.

• Stagecoach's team will assist with travel questions and host giveaways and competitions.

Stagecoach West Scotland, part of the UK’s leading bus operator, in partnership with South Ayrshire Council, is proudly supporting the local community by providing a free shuttle service at the hugely popular and award-winning South Ayrshire Communities Fun Day. Set to be one of the biggest events this year, the event will take place from 11am to 4pm on Saturday, 17 May at Ayr Academy and the nearby Riverside Sports Arena.

This free event is not to be missed. The fun zone features train rides, a climbing wall, a funfair, and a zip line. There will also be a Nerf Battle Arena, along with military and emergency services vehicles on display. Don't miss the iconic Stagecoach open-top bus and the exciting new addition to Stagecoach, the Enviro 400EV double-decker. Launching next month, this state-of-the-art vehicle will operate on service 11, running from Ardrossan to Kilmarnock. This highlights both the charm of classic transportation and the latest advancements in technology, showcasing Stagecoach's dedication to investing in new vehicles and promoting decarbonisation.

Attendees can catch the free shuttle bus every 30 minutes from Ayr Bus Station and Burns Statue Square to the event, from 10.15am to 1.45pm and 3.15pm to 4.15pm.
