Stagecoach West Scotland is proud to sponsor this year’s Arran Festival of Food and Drink, taking place from 24 October to 2 November 2025.
The week-long celebration brings together local producers, chefs, and visitors to enjoy everything from whisky cocktails and gourmet burgers to mushroom foraging and forest garden tours.
With dozens of events taking place across the island, the festival is a true showcase of local produce, culinary creativity and community spirit – and Stagecoach is helping make it easier than ever to get there sustainably.
Visitors are encouraged to leave the car at home and make the most of reliable, environmentally friendly travel to and around Arran.
Festival-goers can enjoy:
- Free travel for under 22s and over 60s with a valid Young Scot or National Entitlement Card (NEC).
- Group DayRider tickets for up to five people – ideal for foodie friends or family days out.
- The ability to buy before you board using the Stagecoach Bus App, and track services in real-time.
From the mainland, there are a range of convenient Stagecoach connections to Ardrossan Harbour for the ferry to Brodick – including Service 585, Service 10 into Troon, Service 11 to Ardrossan, and Service 14, linking coastal communities across Ayrshire.
Once on Arran, passengers can connect across the island with services timed to meet ferry arrivals and departures, including:
- 322 – Cross-island via String Road (Brodick to Blackwaterfoot)
- 323 – Southern route via Whiting Bay
- 324 – Northern coastal route via Lochranza
Most festival venues – including The Douglas Hotel, Lagg Distillery, Bellevue Barn, and Corrie Hotel – are easily accessible by local bus routes.
