Communities across Ayrshire urged to celebrate local NHS Heroes

• Stagecoach launches competition marking the NHS's 78th birthday
• Winning NHS Hero will receive a month's free bus travel

Residents across Ayrshire are being invited to recognise the dedication of local NHS staff by nominating their personal NHS Hero in a new Stagecoach competition.

Launched to celebrate the NHS's 78th anniversary, the competition offers one deserving healthcare worker a month's free Stagecoach bus travel.

From frontline clinical teams to behind-the-scenes support staff, Stagecoach is encouraging people to share stories of those whose care, kindness or professionalism has made a real difference.

People can nominate via the dedicated NHS Heroes post on Stagecoach's official social media channels before Friday 31 July.
