We have been advised that due to industrial action being taken by a number of Network Rail staff, we will be unable to operate the normal Tram Train timetable between 21 and 25 June.
On Tuesday 21, Thursday 23 and Saturday 25 June, an hourly Tram Train service will operate with the first departure from Cathedral at 07:27 and the first departure from Parkgate at 07:59. The last departure from Cathedral to Parkgate will be at 17:27 with the last departure from Parkgate to Cathedral at 17:59.
On Wednesday 22 and Friday 24 June, the first service from Cathedral to Parkgate will be 07:00 and from Parkgate to Cathedral at 07:32. A normal service will operate therefafter on these days.
Tram Train services that are unable to serve Rotherham and Parkgate will operate as additional services between Meadowhall Interchange and Cathedral on the Yellow route.

At times when Tram Train services are unable to serve Rotherham and Parkgate in full, valid tram tickets will be accepted on Stagecoach and First bus services in the affected areas. You can plan your journey online here using the Travel South Yorkshire journey planner. Please note that Supertram tickets are not valid for travel on Northern Railway services, similarly National Rail tickets are not valid for travel on Supertram services.
Rail replacement buses will not be provided by Supertram or by Northern Railway. Northern Railway advise passengers not to travel between 21 and 25 June and to make alternative arrangements.
Customers who use Sheffield Station to access the tram stop should be aware that between 21 and 25 June, the station will open at 6am. There will be no access to/from the tram stop via the station when the station is closed.
