£2 Flat Fare

From 1 November a single tram journey has cost no more than £2; now expected to continue until 30 June. 

 

The cost of a single journey anywhere on the Supertram network has been capped at £2 since Tuesday 1 November and this cap is expected to continue until 30 June. Please check the ticket information pages to check which ticket might suit you best.

You can travel from £2.29 a day when you buy the Tram Only Weekly MegaRider on the Stagecoach Bus app or from £2.58 a day when you buy it on-tram.

 

The price of all other tickets are unchanged.

 

Q: I usually buy a short distance return, has the price changed?

A: Following the January 2023 fare changes, the short distance return increased from £3.40 to £3.70

 

Q: I make multiple journeys every day/week, is my DayRider or MegaRider price going to change?

A: No. The price of longer term tickets are unchanged.

 

Q: How long will single tram fares be capped at £2?

A: The scheme is expected to end on 30 June 2023.
