West Street - Service Update

Update as of 0500, Friday 10 November: all lines are re-opened and a normal service is in operation

Update as of 0800, Thursday 9 November: The line between Cathedral and University remains closed today. We expect the line to reopen from the start of service on Friday 10 February.

Tram services are expected to remain suspended between Shalesmoor and Cathedral until at least Thursday 9 February to allow for track repairs in the West Street area.

A tram service will continue to operate between Middlewood and University between the hours of 5.30am and 11.30pm. Please note that trams towards Middlewood will depart University from the city-bound platform. Due to operational constraints, the times are provided as a guide.

SERVICE SUMMARY

YELLOW: Meadowhall <> Cathedral, to the normal timetable where possible and Middlewood <> University, approximately every 20 minutes each way

BLUE: Halfway <> Cathedral to the normal timetable where possible. No service at Malin Bridge.

PURPLE & TRAM TRAIN services are not affected an continue to operate to the published timetables.

Tram tickets are being accepted on local First and Stagecoach bus services between City, Shalesmoor, Middlewood and Malin Bridge.

Services include; 51, 52 and 120 between University and City, 57 between City and Middlewood, 81 & 82 between City, Hillsborough and Malin Bridge as well as service 86 along Penistone Road between City and Leppings Lane.
