Sheffield Wednesday v Leeds United - 8 March

Customers are advised that on the above date, Sheffield Wednesday will play Leeds United at Hillsborough Stadium, with an 8pm kick off. 

We expect Yellow and Blue route services between the City Centre and Middlewood and Malin Bridge tram stops will be exceptionally busy, particularly before the match. All tram stops between City Centre and Middlewood/Malin Bridge are likely to be much busier than usual from around 6pm.

Although we’ll be providing additional trams where possible both before and after the match, we expect the number of people travelling along with inevitable traffic congestion in the Hillsborough area could significantly affect Yellow and Blue route trams during the evening, with longer journey times than normal. Delays, alterations and cancellations are possible across all parts of the network.
