Stagecoach Colleagues in Team Up with Easter Bunny to Deliver Joy to Local Children

15 May 2026

Colleagues from Stagecoach’s depots in Yorkshire and Derbyshire have been joined by a very special guest, as the Easter Bunny hopped on board a local bus to help deliver a huge collection of Easter eggs to the Talbot Specialist School and Westfield Community Centre.

The eggs were donated by generous Drivers, Engineers, Cleaners and other colleagues at Stagecoach in Sheffield’s depots in Ecclesfield and Holbrook, who came together to support young people and bring a smile to their faces, during the Easter holiday.

Westfield Community Centre is an important community hub, right in the heart of Westfield estate, whereas the Talbot Specialist School is a Local Authority maintained school for young people aged 11–19 with Special Educational Needs, based in the south of Sheffield. We support around 250 students and their families from across the city, and we are passionate about helping each young person thrive.

Matt Kitchin, Managing Director of Stagecoach Yorkshire, said: “I am so proud of the team who have, once again, shown their tremendous generosity – it is always wonderful to see our colleagues come together to support local children and young people.

“At Stagecoach, one of our core beliefs is that we will work to support our local communities – we want to give something back to communities where we live and work, and, at Easter, this is a brilliant way to do it. Everyone really got involved, and I know that our colleagues who delivered the eggs were very moved to see the smiles on the faces of the children, both on the bus and at the hospital, when they dropped off the Easter eggs.

“Stagecoach is proud to support its local community, and we hope that the Easter deliveries will have brought a little extra happiness to the children and their families during the holiday period.”
