Locals offered the chance to win a big day out in National Park with Peak Sightseer

Local people have been given the opportunity to win two tickets for a wonderful day out - including a £100 restaurant voucher - to view the outstanding beauty of the Peak District National Park.

Stagecoach Yorkshire are giving away two day-tickets for the popular Peak Sightseer open-top bus service, as well as £100 to spend at one of the Longbow Venues, either The Ashford Arms, The Maynard in Grindleford or The George in Hathersage.

The prize draw ends on Wednesday 8th July – and the winner will be selected the next day. Entries are made by simply commenting "Peak Sightseer" on Stagecoach’s Facebook or Instagram post referencing the competition.

John Young, Commercial Director of Stagecoach Yorkshire, said: “We were keen to do something special to celebrate another year of our popular Peak Sightseer, and this competition gives us the chance to really showcase the beauty and fun on offer in the Peak District. We are very fortunate that such wonderful scenery and captivating attractions is so easy to get to and enjoy.”

The Peak Sightseer open-top bus season runs daily until 19th September, then Saturdays only until Saturday 10th October. Red Route buses travel one way in a loop with stops including Chatsworth House, Pilsley for the Chatsworth Estate Farm Shop, Hassop Station for the Monsal Trail, Bakewell, and Ashford in the Water.

Meanwhile, Blue Route stops include: Chatsworth House, Baslow Nether End for Baslow Edge, Longshaw Lodge for Padley Gorge and the Longshaw Estate, Castleton for Peveril Castle and the breathtaking views of Winnats Pass, and Blue John Cavern for Mam Tor.
