Ask For Angel Street

Your safety is our priority, and we want you to feel confident that we’ve got your back!

Angel Street Please

Our #AskForAnAngelStreet safety initiative is there for customers and the general public who may feel in an unsafe, vulnerable position but don’t want to ask for assistance in case they raise the suspicions of the perpetrator.

We want our customers to know that if ever they are in a vulnerable situation they can discreetly ask the driver for help by asking for ‘Angel Street’.

If you ever feel unsafe on the bus but are unable to openly communicate through fear of escalation, please go to the bus driver and Ask For Angel Street.

Or, if you are feel you are in a vulnerable situation on the street, find your nearest bus stop, hop on the next bus and ask the driver for ‘Angel Street’.

We have systems in place and our drivers are fully trained in how to tackle difficult situations, and they will do their best to assist you discreetly to prevent escalation.

Keeping our communities safe!

Our local authority partners also continue to invest in bus stops, with CCTV at all key bus stations and interchanges, while we continue to invest in audio enabled CCTV for all our new vehicles (CCTV is fitted to all other vehicles) all helping to safeguard you, our customers.
