Clumber Park

Affordable summer travel connecting Worksop and Clumber Park

This summer, getting out into nature is easier and more affordable for families across Nottinghamshire.

From Saturday 25 July to Sunday 6 September 2026, a brand-new daily summer bus service will connect Worksop with Clumber Park, helping families enjoy great days out during the school holidays without the stress of driving or parking.

Funded by the East Midlands Combined County Authority and operated by Stagecoach East Midlands in partnership with the National Trust, the service will run three times a day, every day throughout the summer holidays.

At just £3 return per person, including entry into Clumber Park, it’s an affordable way to enjoy a full day of outdoor adventure. Travel and admission are free for National Trust members, children under five, and anyone arriving into Worksop by train with a valid rail ticket.

The route will connect:

  • Worksop Train Station
  • Worksop Bus Station
  • Manton Depots
  • Clumber Park

Whether you want to enjoy lakeside walks, explore the hidden Woodland Play Park, or spot wildlife around the park, Clumber Park offers something for all ages. Families can discover the Discovery Centre with hands-on seasonal activities, pondlife displays and nature-themed experiences, explore the historic walled kitchen garden (home to the National Trust’s rhubarb collection) or simply relax with a picnic or an ice cream. Set within more than 3,800 acres of beautiful parkland with miles of walking trails, peaceful woodlands and plenty of space to play and unwind, it’s the perfect family day out during the summer holidays.

With easy public transport links and low-cost fares, the new service makes it simple for local families and visitors alike to enjoy more time outdoors together this summer.
