Never pay more than £3 for your single journey

Great value bus travel continues, with single journeys capped at no more than £3*

Bus travel is still a great value way to get from A to B.

We’re taking part in the National Bus Fare Cap Scheme which means that from 1st January 2025, a single bus journey in England will be capped at a maximum of £3 - yes that’s less than a cup of coffee from a high street cafe. So enjoy a nice day out in Nottingham with friends, it's just £3 to get there from Mansfield or Chesterfield. Or visit the beautiful Rufford Abbey or Sherwood Forest - yes, you've guessed it, it's just £3 from Retford or Nottingham!

Will all single journeys cost £3?

£3 is the maximum you will pay*. Lots of our fares will cost less - in fact most single journeys across England will be less than £3, offering great value on everyday trips especially within towns and cities. For those longer journeys, the fare cap ensures you will never pay more than £3 for a single trip. Where could your £3 take you?
