Great value bus travel continues, with single journeys capped at no more than £3.*
Bus travel is still a great value way to get from A to B
We’re taking part in the National Bus Fare Cap Scheme which means that from 1st January 2025, a single bus journey in England will be capped at a maximum of £3 - yes that’s less than a cup of coffee from a high street cafe. So go grab that coffee at Coffee With Art in Bedford, it's just £3 to get there from Bedford or Kempston. Or take a trip over to Mowsbury Park for a nice walk in the park - yes, you've guessed it, it's just £3 from Bedford and Brickhill!
Will all single journeys cost £3?
£3 is the maximum you will pay. Lots of our fares will cost less- in fact most single journeys across England will be less than £3, offering great value on everyday trips especially within towns and cities. For those longer journeys, the fare cap ensures you will never pay more than £3 for a single trip. Where could your £3 take you?
What are the ticket prices across the East?
Single ticket prices vary based on the distance travelled. Adult single fares start at £2 for short trips and slightly longer journeys are £2.50. If you're travelling further afield, your fare will be capped at £3 no matter how far you go!
