Grand National Festival Shuttle Bus Service

We're off to the Races, direct from Liverpool City Centre to Aintree Racecourse.

Grand National Festival 2026: Our 922 shuttle bus service will operate on Thursday 9th, Friday 10th & Saturday 11th April 2026.

Get to Aintree Racecourse by bus; we will be running fast, frequent services from Elliot Street (Liverpool City Centre) direct to Aintree Racecourse (Park Lane, Aintree Station) over the 3 days of the Grand National Festival.

 

Aintree Races 2025 Roundel• From Elliot Street, Liverpool City Centre to Aintree Racecourse.

You can board our buses at Elliot Street, located just off Lime Street (2 minute walk from Lime Street Train Station).

Q. How do I buy a ticket for Aintree Races shuttle bus and how much is it?

Tickets can be purchased direct from your bus driver, using contactless or cash. You can buy an Adult single ticket at *£5.00 or return ticket at just £6.00.

 

Q. Where can I catch the Aintree Races shuttle bus?

Our shuttle buses will be waiting at Elliot Street, Liverpool City Centre to get you to the Racecourse. Returning from the Racecourse back to the City Centre, buses will be waiting on Park Lane, Aintree. (For pickup locations, please see above "click here" links).
 

Q. What is the timetable for Aintree races shuttle bus?

- On Thursday 9th April (Opening Day) & Friday 10th April (Ladies Day) buses will run every 10 minutes from 10am until 1pm to the Racecourse and from 4:40pm until 6.40pm back to Liverpool City Centre.

- On Saturday 11th April (Grand National Day) buses will run every 10 minutes from 10am until 1pm to the Racecourse and from 5.40pm until 7.40pm back to Liverpool City Centre.
 

Q. Can I use other tickets on this shuttle service. E.g. DayRrider, Concessionary pass?

No other Stagecoach tickets & passes are valid on the shuttle service - only the 922 shuttle tickets are valid.

 

Q. Do I need to have cash to hand?

We accept contactless payments up to the value of £45 so you don't need to have cash ready.
