StagecoachSmart is an electronic card that stores your megarider tickets to use on the bus. It's available across most of the UK and offers a more convenient way for you to travel.
StagecoachSmart is an electronic travel card that stores your Stagecoach megarider tickets to use on the bus. You'll receive your card with your first purchase.
All you have to do is get on the bus and place your card on the reader. You’ll need to carry your smart card with you at all times when travelling on a bus.
When your ticket runs out, simply reload your card with a new megarider ticket. You can do this either on the bus or online. You can choose a start date if you use our website to reload your existing card - please allow 2 days for your card to be updated.
In some areas we are now issuing megarider tickets on a smart card, rather than a paper ticket.
