Revised timetables in operation from Sunday 31st January in response to national lockdown:
Following the introduction of the third national lockdown, government advice now states that you must now only travel for essential journeys, avoid travelling outside your local area and try to reduce the number of journeys you make.
As a result, we are making some temporary reductions to our local bus services - timetables will be running to a variation of their current timetable (for example, operating to a Saturday timetable during the week, Monday to Friday).
Details of the service changes and the timetables can be viewed under the associated area tabs at the bottom of this page.
Oxford Tube services remain temporarily suspended until further notice.
Timetable changes to services in Bicester from Sunday 31st January 2021
From the 31st January 2021 we will be making some further changes to the Stagecoach services in Bicester. These changes are necessary to:
- Respond to passenger and staff suggestions to improve punctuality and connections on the H5
- In partnership with Countryside Estates, utilise Ludlow Road in Kingsmere to better serve Phase 2 of the development.
- Ensure that the services we are operating are meeting the requirements of social distancing whilst also responding to the current national lockdown levels.
Details of the changes and the new timetables from this date can be viewed below:
26 - This service will now be serving Ludlow Road. Some journeys will be running slightly earlier or later to accommodate some improvements to service H5. Please check the timetable carefully

H5 - Following lots of feedback from our customers and drivers we're marking some minor changes to this service.
The first two journeys to the John Radcliffe Hospital will run 10 minutes earlier. We have also reviewed the route that this service takes around the hospital and Headington area. The inbound journey to the JR Hospital will remain the same but upon leaving the JR for travel towards Bicester, the H5 will depart from the West Wing to Headley Way, London Road and Headington Roundabout to Bayswater Road.
This means for journeys from JR Hospital towards Bicester passengers will need to use the West Wing bus stop as the main entrance will no longer be served.

Changes to services 27 and 28 from Sunday 7th February 2021
One week after the above changes, services 27 and 28 will be changing to respond to the roadworks on the bridge on Bicester Road. This will result in a diversion for the 28 and the temporary removal of service 27.
27 - Due to roadworks that are being carried out on Bicester Road towards Launton, this service will be replaced with a temporary 28 service. Please see service 28 for further details
28 - Due to roadworks that are being carried out on Bicester Road towards Launton, a temporary route and timetable will be in place until further notice.
During this time, journeys will run hourly on Launton Road and through Langford, then continue to Launton via Blackthorn Road. Some stops will be served using the opposite side of the road, some stops on Bicester Road will not be served during this time.
We're sorry if this makes your journey harder to make but we have worked hard to provide an alternative route to Launton during the period of restricted access.
