Explore Leeds Castle by bus!

From 28 May, buses will be stopping off at Leeds Castle. The hourly Monday to Saturday route 10X service will call in to the Castle grounds on its way between Ashford and Maidstone.

The Castle bus stop is situated in the grounds conveniently close to the coffee shop and toilets at the entrance to the main drive. You can connect here with the Castle’s Land Train for an easy ride through the picturesque parkland to the Castle itself.

The 10X bus service now serves Maidstone East Railway Station as well as Maidstone town centre, taking just 30 minutes to reach the Castle.

Located 7 miles south east of Maidstone, Leeds Castle is one of Kent’s top tourist attractions. With evidence of a castle existing on the site for over 900 years, it has a wealth of history to offer, as well as 500 acres of beautiful estate gardens, galleries, museums, and year-round family-friendly activities.

For those really wanting to soak up the atmosphere, there is even overnight accommodation across the castle and estate. From glamping in a knight’s tent to opulent suites within the castle itself, there are options for everyone to fully experience Leeds Castle’s unique charm.

On top of all this, Leeds Castle has a calendar full of added-value events that your discounted entry ticket grants you access to, including the popular Motors on the Moat event happening on 10th & 11th August 2024.
