Yard of Ale

Enjoy a little refreshment at the award-winning Yard of Ale micropub. Set in a former stable complete with original cobbles, expect plenty of local cask ales, real ciders and even some local wines.

Getting there by bus...

If you're heading to the micropub you will need to get off the bus at the stop by St Peter’s Railway Bridge. You can travel on the Thanet Loop service from all around Thanet - buses run about every 8 minutes throughout the day and every 15 minutes until around 10pm in the evenings. After that there’s a half hourly service until gone midnight. Houdini's Magic Bar

Getting there by bus...

Houdini's Magic Bar is on the main High Street in Broadstairs. There are a variety of buses that serve the Pierremont Hall bus stops nearby. The most frequent service is the Loop which runs around Thanet about every 8 minutes throughout the day and every 15 minutes until around 10pm in the evenings. After that there’s a half hourly service until gone midnight. The Rum Clinic

A taste of the Caribbean in the heart of Folkestone: This bar offers a variety of cocktails, Caribbean beers and over 100 rums! 

Getting there by bus...

The Rum Clinic is a short walk from Folkestone bus station in the heart of town. Buses from Romney Marsh, Hythe and Dover operate into the bus station every 20 minutes during the daytime with a regular evening service up to about 10.40pm. Ziggy's Rooftop Bar + BBQ

You'll find this Caribbean and Jamaican influence Rooftop Terrace Bar & BBQ in the heart of Margate. Ziggy's is the home of sunsets, rum cocktails, Reggae and Hip Hop. 

Getting there by bus...

From Canterbury you'll need to catch the frequent ‘Breeze’ service  8 or 8A towards Margate. For Ziggy's you will need to get off the bus stop at Marine Terrace just before Margate’s central Cecil Square. The last return bus to Canterbury is at 10.15pm. If you’re travelling from within Thanet the Loop service runs about every 8 minutes throughout the day and every 15 minutes until around 10pm in the evenings. After that there’s a half hourly service until gone midnight. Lava Lounge Bar

This Tiki Bar in Dover offers a great range of bespoke cocktails, premium spirits and a pleasing array of fine wines and champagne - all served with a twist!

Getting there by bus...

For the Lava Lounge you'll need to get off the bus at Dover’s central Pencester Road. Stagecoach route 15 buses run up to every 20 minutes between Canterbury and Dover. The last bus to return to Canterbury is at 10.50pm on Mondays to Saturdays. From Folkestone you can access Dover on route 102.
