7 Brunswick Arms
Family orientated pub overlooking The Brook and The Lawn. It offers outside seating, a good spot to sit in the afternoon sun watching the famous black swans of Dawlish. Two guest ales are usually on offer, plus a real cider which changes; food is available. Skittles, pool and darts are played; children and dogs are welcome. Easily accessible by train and bus. Happy hour is 5-6 all week except Sunday 4 to 5.

8 Gresham House Inn
Formerly the Laffin Pig, the pub changed its name to Gresham House Inn, its original name, when it was taken over in June 2011. It is a friendly back street boozer, situated 200 metres from the river that runs through The Lawn with the famous Dawlish black swans.

9 Marine Tavern
Traditional seaside pub with suntrap patio at the front and a sea view balcony which also provides a great viewpoint for passing steam train specials. Accommodation is available consisting of four rooms, and children are welcome in an area away from the bar. Dogs are also welcome. Occasional live music is hosted, and there are interesting local photos to view. This pub is easily accessible by bus or train.

10 Teignmouth Inn
The Teignmouth Inn has a friendly atmosphere and is a great pub for sports fans with a large screen for Sky Sports. Karaoke is popular on Friday's, and pools and darts are played. There is a smoking area outside and upstairs balcony. A feature is a well at one side of the bar, which is also decorated with frogs. Dogs are welcome.

11 Smugglers Inn
With splendid coastal views, this roadside free house has an excellent reputation for food, served lunchtimes and evenings, the carvery being a particular attraction. The carvery is served Monday to Saturday from 12pm to 2pm and 6pm to 9pm; Sunday 12pm to 9pm. The bar area has a wood-burning stove. There are two regular ales and one variable guest. The outside area is popular at all seasons, with its separate smokers' canopy. A mini beer festival is held towards the end of January, usually featuring about 14 ales, and regular entertainment is hosted. There is a car park, and buses pass the door.
