22 brand-new double deck buses are headed to Blackwater Valley and Surrey! We're happy to announce service 1 and 20 will be going electric, with new state-of-the-art buses delivering quieter, smoother, and zero-emission journeys for our customers.

New buses are brought to you in partnership with Surrey County Council, using funding from the Surrey Greener Futures Scheme, marking the start of our journey towards a zero emission fleet by 2035.

Will the buses be going onto other routes?

No, the new electric buses will only be introduced on routes 1 and 20. 

When will there be electric buses on other routes?

With our goal of a zero-emission fleet by 2035, we're looking forward to working with local authorities and using our own investment to deliver new electric buses in your area soon.

When will the buses be going into service?

The buses will be going on the road in Summer 2026. We pleased that the fleet of buses and infrastructure is complete, we're just awaiting the final checks to get the buses on the road - be sure to check this webpage for updates!
