Q. How do I buy a ticket on the Stagecoach Bus App?
A. Buying a ticket on the app is easy:
Download the Stagecoach Bus App and log in. If you don’t have an account it’s quick and easy to create.
Next, go to 'Buy Tickets' and make sure your location is set, then click on the student tab and add your ticket to your basket.
Make sure you have your ID and payment method ready and follow the instructions on the screen to make your payment.
Once you have bought your ticket, enter your details and activate your ticket.
When you’re ready to travel, all you need to do is show your ticket to the driver along with your student ID and you'll be on your way!
Q. Can I transfer or gift a student ticket I bought on the app?
A. You can send mobile tickets to other registered Stagecoach Bus App users. It's really simple:
Go to 'My Tickets' and find the ticket you want to gift
Tap 'Send to another person' and follow the prompts
Just a heads up, you'll need to include the email address of the person getting the ticket. That email needs to link to a Stagecoach Bus account.
Once that's sorted, the ticket will be ready and waiting for them when they next access 'My Tickets'.
Q. How do I activate my mobile student ticket on the app?
A. Once you’ve bought your ticket and added your student details, you can then activate your ticket and it's ready to use.
Q. How do I check the start and end dates of a ticket on a Stagecoach mobile student ticket /pass?
A. Simply log in to the Stagecoach Bus App.
Go to your active ticket and you’ll see the valid to and from dates for your student ticket
By clicking on 'More details', you can also find out where you can travel, see any ticket restrictions and review the terms and conditions of your ticket.
