South Yorkshire Bus Travel for Young People

Stagecoach offer a wide choice of travel options for young people in South Yorkshire. Whether you want to travel by bus occasionally or regularly you’ll find the ticket you need.

£1 Single for under 18's

You can buy and use discounted bus tickets if you’re:

under 16 and have a valid Zoom Under 16 Card
between 16 and 18 and have a Zoom 16-18 Travel Pass

Anyone with these passes can catch any bus in South Yorkshire for £1

In Barnsley, Under 18's can travel for free with a MiCard.

Child Silver tickets

You can buy and use this ticket if you’re:

under 16 and have a valid Zoom Under 16 Card or B_Line card
between 16 and 18 and have a 16-18 Travel Pass or B_Line2 card

18-21 year olds* can buy a discounted £1.80 single fare on bus with a 'Zoom Beyond 18-21 Travel Pass'.

*You can use the pass until the day before your 22nd birthday.

This reduced fare is only available with a Zoom Beyond pass. If you don’t have one of these passes you will be charged adult fare.

Travel for students and apprentices

All of the fares below are currently available to buy for students and apprentices with valid NUS, TOTUM and Sheffield University and Hallam University Student ID. You will need to show your valid ID each time you use your student ticket on bus.
