Zip around with ease to Maerdy, Aberdare and much more
Pontypridd is one of our most visited town in South Wales, and it’s no secret why. This bustling market town is jam packed with things to do for the whole family. The town’s roots as a 19th century coal mining town show in its beautiful historical architecture, but its culture certainly moves with the times.
There's so much to do in the Rhondda Valleys. Visit the Welsh Mining Experience museum, or take a leisurely stroll at Barry Sidings Countryside Park. Whether you’re visiting the Rhondda for a day out, or live and work in the area, Stagecoach offers a quick and convenient route from A to B.
Aberdare has long been known as one of Wales’ cultural hubs, so it’s no surprise it’s one of our most travelled areas in South Wales. It’s home to the Coliseum Theatre and Cynon Valley Museum Trust, but it’s not just the cultural hotspots that make it a great place to visit.
If you’re the outdoorsy type, Aberdare is home to plenty of countryside beauty spots, great for walking, hiking, cycling and more. If you’re a fan of the great outdoors, why not take a trip to Four Falls Trail, Cynon Trail or Dare Valley Country Park? Stagecoach offers a convenient, comfortable and affordable route to, within and from Aberdare – whether you’re just visiting, or there to stay.
If your travels in the area are few and far between, our single and return passes always offer excellent value. For more regular travellers, our DayRider and MegaRider tickets offer unlimited Stagecoach Rhondda and Aberdare travel.
