Does this mean that I can travel anywhere in England for no more than £3?

No, the £3 fare cap applies to single fares only. If you normally travel on more than one bus and buy a single ticket for each part of your journey, then you will still need to do that, but each ticket will cost no more than £3 for the duration of the scheme. If you normally jump on and off a few buses a day or week it’s likely that a DayRider or other longer term ticket will be the best value for you.
