New service X22 offers an exciting new travel opportunity for those travelling between Stirling and Dunfermline, with direct journeys under one hour. The service is perfectly suited for commuters and students alike, with the first journey departing Stirling at 8am, and return journeys from Dunfermline until 5.30pm (Monday to Friday).
Students attending Fife College in Dunfermline will now be able to travel simpler and cheaper than ever, and those under 22, can utilise their National Entitlement Card and travel for free, instead of paying for train fares and making multiple connections.
Customers can also make use of Stagecoach’s newly-updated West Fife travel zone for travel between Stirling and Fife, due to a recent ticket zone extension. West Fife DayRider, MegaRider and Flexi5 tickets are valid on service X22, with unlimited daily travel from only £3.50 per day when purchasing a West Fife 28 day adult MegaRider ticket.
A new ticket has also been introduced, offering those traveling between Stirling and Alloa, a return journey for only £5.50, which can be purchased from the driver on board service X22 and used for return travel on the same day.
Douglas Robertson Managing Director from Stagecoach East Scotland said: “Service X22 offers new and improved travel opportunities for commuters, students and leisure travellers between Stirling and Fife, including travel to Springkerse Retail Park and direct to Dunfermline’s city centre shopping, up to every hour.
