Chester – Saturday 21 February
Chester city centre will come alive from 11am with traditional music, lion and dragon dancing, cultural characters, and colourful performances. Festivities begin on Eastgate Street, continuing to Chester Town Hall, where visitors can enjoy indoor performances, calligraphy sessions, interactive activities and special guest Tai Chi Panda.
Liverpool – Saturday 21 & Sunday 22 February 
Liverpool will host two days of celebrations, centred around Chinatown and the city centre. Events run from 11am–5pm, featuring family workshops, Tai Chi demonstrations, live music, street theatre, food and craft stalls. The main celebration on Sunday includes spectacular dragon, lion and unicorn parades, firecracker displays and fairground rides. Thousands of red lanterns and illuminated landmarks will add to the atmosphere, alongside stunning lantern sculptures of a horse and dragons.
