Bus operator Stagecoach has announced changes to services over the festive season.
In line with previous years, buses will continue to operate as normal up to Christmas Eve, with some routes finishing early.
There will be no Stagecoach services operating in Kent and East Sussex on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, or New Year’s Day and buses on some routes will also finish early on New Year's Eve.
Sunday timetables will operate on Bank Holidays (Monday 27th, Tuesday 28th and Monday 3rd January) with a special Bank Holiday timetable operating on routes 304 and 254 between Hastings, Hawkhurst and Tunbridge Wells.
Joel Mitchell, Managing Director at Stagecoach South East, said: “To help give our drivers a well-deserved rest over the festive season, we will not be operating any regular public service buses on Boxing Day or New Year's Day.
“In recognition of their efforts as key workers during the Covid-19 pandemic, we hope that this will give our colleagues the opportunity to enjoy Christmas with their loved ones.”
Passengers are being urged to plan ahead to avoid disruption to their journeys.
