Help us Share the Magic this Christmas

We are asking for your help this Christmas to support our Share the Magic campaign.

A campaign designed to support families who might not be able to give this Christmas, we would like to encourage colleagues and members of the public to help us share some magic.

Donation stations are being set up across the county this December for staff and passengers to give back this Christmas.

Located in Exeter, Torquay, Barnstaple and Plymouth we will be collecting gifts to support families who may go without through no fault of their own this Christmas.

 

We have selected four charities to support at our main depots and stations.

 

Across our Exeter network we'll be supporting:

Action for Children – Exeter Family Hub

 

Across our Torbay network we'll be supporting:

The Patchwork Women’s and Children Centre

 

Across our Plymouth network we'll be supporting:

Trevi

 

Across our North Devon network we'll be supporting:

North Devon Against Domestic Abuse

 

Where to donate

Passengers can donate their gifts at the customer service point in Exeter Bus Station, while staff donation points are available in Torquay, Plymouth and Barnstaple.

Passengers in Torbay, Plymouth, and Barnstaple may donate directly to the charity or at their local depot.

What to buy

Gifts such as:

  • Self-care gifts, hot water bottles, nice chocolates/biscuits
  • Hats and Scarves, Nail Varnish
  • Games, Puzzles, craft kits

will bring joy to all ages and will be hugely appreciated by those who may otherwise go without.

 

The donation window will run from 1st and 12th December with gifts being donated to each charity the week before Christmas.

 

We completely understand that not everyone may be able to contribute the campaign in the form of buying a gift and we’re grateful for any support that you can give in other ways.
