It’s National Cream Tea Day this Friday 27th June. So why not head our across the South West and enjoy a traditional West Country Cream Tea- by bus! We’ve had picked 5 of our favourites for you – but the big question is, will it be Cream or Jam first?

 

The Cream Tea Café, Barnstaple

Nestled in the middle of Barnstaple, The Cream Tea café offers traditional Devon bakes from i’'s superb setting. Whether you’re perusing the shops in the town centre or pannier market, or taking a break from walking the Tarka Trail, the café offers a perfect spot for refreshments. You’ll be treated to a generous portion of tea and scones and you won’t be disappointed!

Catch the 21/21A from Bideford or the 21B from Ilfracombe. A range of buses also connect Barnstaple town centre.

 

Hidden Treasure Tea Room, Exeter

The Hidden Treasure tea room is a gem of a café situated in Exeter’s independent quarter on Fore Street. The vintage inspired tea room offers a range of teas and yummy home made cakes, and being right next to the House That Moved, and city gates is a great place to stops after touring Exeter’s historic landmarks.
