Stagecoach Yorkshire raises funds for Age UK through colleague feedback survey

13 Nov 2025

Stagecoach Yorkshire is raising funds to support the essential work done by Age UK, as it asks its colleagues for their honest feedback on how the operation can improve still further.

Stagecoach Yorkshire will donate £1 to Age UK for each colleague who answers its annual ‘Tell Me’ survey. Tell Me gives Stagecoach’s colleagues, across the country, the opportunity to express their opinions in complete confidence, so the operator can develop and build on their views.

Stagecoach is a major supporter of Age UK, one of the most important charities supporting elderly people in the UK. Last year, it donated £100,000, to the charity, as part of its ‘Giving for Good’ community fund.

Stagecoach Yorkshire hopes that its further fund-raising will help Age UK continue to provide practical support to older people to help change the way we age. Age UK has a free national Advice Line, Telephone Friendship Service, and The Silver Line Helpline that people can call free of charge for advice, support, and friendship.

Matt Kitchin, Managing Director of Stagecoach Yorkshire, said: “Tell Me is a hugely important part of our year – it is an opportunity for our colleagues to confidentially tell us exactly what they think, and we build on their insights throughout the year.

“We really wanted to continue our support for Age UK, and this seemed the perfect way to do it. This way, our customers get to benefit, both from the further improvements that will no doubt come from our colleague’s feedback, but, potentially, also from the work done by this important charity.”
