Rate My Ride Terms and Conditions

 

Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions, and agreed to be bound by them, when entering this Promotion.


  1. This free prize draw (“Promotion”) is open to residents who live in England.
  2. Employees (or family members of employees) of Stagecoach and any companies associated with the Promotion and all affiliates of such companies may not enter this Promotion.
  3. No purchase necessary to enter.
  4. Maximum of one entry per person. We reserve the right to exclude any entries which we believe to be fraudulent, inappropriate or based on misconduct.
  5. The entrant must provide a valid email address as this will be the method by which the winning customers will be notified.
  6. The “entrant” is the person whose name is identified on the mode of entry.
  7. There are 8 prizes. One prize for each of our Stagecoach East Midlands depots (which are Gainsborough, Grimsby, Lincoln/Newark, Hull, Mansfield, Scunthorpe, Skegness/Spalding and Worksop). The prizes are a free bus ticket (Connect 28 Day MegaRider) giving 28 days unlimited travel on Stagecoach East Midlands bus services. The ticket will not be valid on other Stagecoach operating companies bus services.
  8. The competition opens on 1 October 2026 and will close on 30 September 2027. Winners will be drawn at random by 31 October 2027, and notified by email.
  9. Stagecoach East Midlands is not responsible for any delay, failure of delivery, or technical issues that may prevent a prize notification email or promotional code from being received. Entrants are responsible for ensuring that the email address provided is correct and for checking their inbox, junk and spam folders.
  10. The prize will be issued as a promotional code. The code must be redeemed within three months of the date it is issued. Once redeemed and activated, the Connect 28 Day MegaRider ticket will be valid for 28 consecutive days and will expire automatically at the end of that period. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable.
  11. Stagecoach East Midlands will not accept responsibility if contact details provided are incomplete or inaccurate.
  12. The decision of Stagecoach East Midlands regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered about it.
  13. The winner(s) may be asked to take part in promotional activity, including publicity photos. By taking part, the winner(s) agrees to the use of photographs or any reproductions of them for any advertising purposes, or for the purposes of illustrating any wording, and agree that the wording shall be considered to be attributed to them personally whenever their name is used. The photographs may be used in official Stagecoach publications and publicity material, covering all media UK wide, including, but not limited to advertising on posters and bus graphics, annual reports, internal newsletters, PR, leaflets, advertisements, website and the online photo library, with any reasonable retouching or alteration. The winner will not be entitled to receive payment for any such use by us of their image or footage in which they appear.
  14. By taking part in this prize draw, you consent to us collecting, storing and using your personal contact information submitted with your entry for the purposes of this prize draw. Your personal data will be subject to UK data protection laws and will not be used for any purpose other than this prize draw without your prior consent. You will be able to tell us not to send more emails at any time.
  15. Failure to comply with these terms and conditions will automatically render an entry void.
  16. Stagecoach East Midlands reserves the right to cancel the competition or amend these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.
