What is ABC?

ABC is a multi-operator bus ticket. This ticket scheme allows you to travel on All Bus Companies across Dundee and East Fife using one ticket. It's as easy as A B C.

Who's involved?

The ABC scheme involves bus operators and local councils. Bus operators involved are -

• Stagecoach
• Xplore Dundee
• Moffat & Williamson

Councils involved are -

• Fife Council
• Dundee City Council
• Angus Council

How much does it cost?

Each zone has a day and weekly tickets available. Our table below will help you decide what the best ticket option is for your travel needs:

All prices are valid from Monday 18th August.

Where can I get my ABC Ticket?

When it comes to tickets, we've made it simple. Whether you need a Single, a DayRider, or a MegaRider, they're all available on the app for when you're ready to buy one.

We also accept ABC tickets bought on Xplore Dundee's app and all other operators accept tickets on our app. All you have to do is show the driver your ticket. On Moffat & Williamson and Xplore services your QR code on your ticket will need to be scanned for the ticket to be accepted. 

You can also purchase your bus ticket on the bus if you have an existing smartcard, by letting the driver know what ABC ticket zone you want. Note that new smartcards are no longer available to buy on our buses.  

Where can I use ABC?

ABC is valid across three ticket zones - Dundee, East Fife, and a zone that is a combination of the two. Your ABC bus ticket allows unlimited travel in your chosen zone on any bus operators that are part of the scheme. (See above)
