Say hello to our new X22 express service!

Service X22 goes between Dunfermline and Stirling, calling at Oakley, Blairhall and Alloa providing journeys up to every hour, 7 days a week. Service X22 provides a brand new bus link across West Fife, offering new travel opportunities. If you're a student find out below.

We've also included Stirling and Forth Valley into our West Fife ticket zone, so X22 customers can benefit from reduced fares through our range of multi-journey ticket options. We've also introduced a brand new DayReturn ticket between Alloa and Stirling for only £5.50!

The Route

The new express service linking Dunfermline with Stirling runs 7 days a week up to every hour getting you to Stirling in under an hour. Here are the stops on the route:

Attending University of Stirling?

Getting to University of Stirling has just gotten easier! Students are now able to get the X22 into Stirling rail station where you can connect with Midland Bluebird's Unilink service. 

Don't forget your pass

Under 22s living in Scotland are entitled to free bus travel. Also, if you're over 22 you can still take advantage of discounted bus travel. Find out more information here. 

Great value tickets

We offer a great range of money-saving tickets for travel on our network, including some great value tickets for use on the X22 service. These include All-Day tickets and off-peak tickets, which are valid after 9am Monday-Friday and all weekend.

If you're travelling from Dunfermline our West Fife DayRider for only £8.50 offers great value in getting to and from Stirling. We've also introduced a new DayReturn ticket to and from Stirling from Alloa costing only £6.50.

You can buy single, DayReturn, DayRider and MegaRider tickets on board from the driver - and you can pay using contactless to avoid handling cash, however our drivers do give change if necessary.

DayRider, MegaRider and Flexi 5 tickets can be purchased using the Stagecoach Bus app, and MegaRider and MegaRider Xtra tickets can be bought from the Tickets page on our website.
