What Bus Can I Get From St Andrews to Edinburgh Airport?

From Monday 5th May, we're proud to be launching our new airport service - JET787. The JET787 will provide a direct and convenient service between St Andrews, Guardbridge, Cupar, Auchtermuchty, Kinross P&R and Halbeath P&R. Not forgetting free parking at Kinross and Halbeath Park and Rides. Journeys from St Andrews will take up to 90 minutes, with journeys from Kinross P&R taking up to 40 minutes, with passengers being dropped off right at the door at Edinburgh Airport. 

Save money on airport parking with our £21.40 JET period return or get there for free if you have your over 60 or Under 22 pass. More money for more holiday fun! Find out more ticket details below. 

The JET787 bus route

The JET787 is a direct route to Edinburgh Airport and has limited stops to ensure a frequent and efficient service. Here are the stops on the route:

JET787 Tickets

Our ticket prices are designed to save you money from parking at the airport and give you great value.

An adult single ticket from Fife to Edinburgh Airport is only £10.60, but if you’re JETTING off, then our JET Period Return is perfect for you at only £21.40. It’s valid for a return trip (1 journey in each direction) within 28 days, available anytime from anywhere on the JET787 route or from anywhere on our Express Network (except X7) to Edinburgh Airport. 

If you’re travelling as a couple or in a group, our JET DUO Ticket is perfect with two Adult period returns for £38!

Family holiday? U16s can buy a JET Period Return for just £1 when travelling with an over 18.

Don’t forget your pass

Do you work at Edinburgh Airport?

We’ve introduced a staff discount offering 50% off single and return tickets when travelling from anywhere on the JET route. You must show your permanent Airport staff pass/ID, with the EDI code showing, to the driver to buy or use your ticket. 

Special DayReturn ticket, exclusive to Airport staff, can be purchased for just £6.20. 
Edinburgh Airport staff can also request a 10 journey ticket when travelling from Halbeath/Ferrytoll to Edinburgh Airport on JET, the ticket is valid for 28 days and costs just £30.50.

Free travel is also available for Scottish residents Under 22, over 60 or those with a disability. You’ll just need to scan your National Entitlement Card when you board the bus. Find out more here.
