New Service 6/6A: Ledsham Garden Village - Ellesmere Port - Rivacre

Stagecoach, in partnership with Cheshire West & Chester Council and Redrow Homes, is excited to introduce major improvements to bus service 6/6A in Ellesmere Port from Monday 20th January 2025. This upgraded service, featuring three brand-new buses, offers enhanced connectivity and convenience for local residents.

Key Features of the New 6/6A Service:

Enhanced Frequency:

Operates every 30 minutes, Monday to Saturday, from approximately 7am to 7pm.

Expanded Route Coverage:

Serves Ledsham Garden Village and new areas like the A41 and Kendal Drive for the first time in years.
Replaces the existing E7 service, linking Rivacre to Ellesmere Port town centre and beyond.
Convenient Through-Links: Direct connections across Ellesmere Port, including the town centre, rail station, and employment hubs around Merseyton Road, without requiring a transfer.

Improved Local Access:

Covers key residential areas such as Wetherby Way, Gleneagles Road (6), Glenwood Road, and Parklands (6A).
Stops include Great Sutton, Summertrees Road, Hope Farm Road, Overpool Road, Whitby Cottage Hospital, and Morrisons.
