It's never been easier to board our buses - tickets are available to purchase on board directly from the driver.

 

Are you planning on visiting this summer? No need to plan ahead - you can enjoy the perfect family day out in Stratford-upon-Avon by just hopping on our sightseeing buses - tour tickets are available on the day to be purchased from our friendly drivers.

 

A charming medieval market town in the heart of rural England. Set on the banks of the River Avon (which you can explore via the River Avon cruise!) winding its way through. You'll be able to discover the birthplace of William Shakespeare, and home to the world-renowned Royal Shakespeare Company. You can hop on and off as many times as you want during the duration of your ticket (24 or 48hr). 

The sightseeing buses take you on an 11 stop tour through history, allowing you to explore the exciting story of William Shakespeare’s early years, the first five years with his new wife, see where his plays are performed today, and his final resting place.

You'll also be able to hop off and enjoy the popular Stratford-upon-Avon tourists attractions - Why not take a stroll around the house where Shakespeare was born and grew up? Or see how his father, John, earned his living as a glove maker?

Shakespeare’s Birthplace (stop 5)

Discover the exciting story of William Shakespeare’s early years, and see where he spent the first five years with his new wife. Stroll around the house where Shakespeare was born & grew up and see how his father, John, earned his living as a glove maker.

 

Shakespeare’s New Place (stop 4)
Visit Stratford-upon-Avon’s newest and most exciting attraction. Walk in Shakespeare’s footsteps and meet the man behind the works in a fascinating new exhibition. Discover beautiful gardens and specially-commissioned artworks.


Hall’s Croft, Holy Trinity Church, and Shakespeare's Grave (stop 3)
Visit the elegant 17th century house where Shakespeare’s eldest daughter, Susanna, and her husband Dr John Hall lived.

Hall's Croft is currently closed to the general public. 


Anne Hathaway’s Cottage (stop 9)
A beautiful thatched farmhouse where Shakespeare’s wife once lived. Take a stroll through the award-winning gardens overflowing with beautiful blooms and shrubs.


Mary Arden’s Farm (stop 10)
Home of Shakespeare’s grandparents and childhood home of his mother, Mary Arden.

Currently closed to the general public. 

 

Buy your ticket on the bus, you can also get your entrance tickets for Avon boating and Anne Hathaway's Cottage at the same time!

Commentary & Live guides

English speaking 'live guides' will be on most tour buses departing on the hour between 10:00 & 15:00 Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays between the 18th of July and the 31st of August.
