Buying a ticket 

Our ticket finder will help you find the right ticket for your needs. You can purchase a ticket on our
website, using the Stagecoach app or on the bus itself.

Stagecoach offer concessionary travel for bus pass holders and a range of discounts for students,

Tickets for children

For Young People aged between 5 and 18 years old

DayRider tickets

• Young person DayRider tickets give you 1 day’s unlimited travel in your chosen travel zone.
• You can share your young person DayRider tickets with other people aged between 5 and 18 when you're not using them.
• Group DayRider tickets are also available.
• Our Group DayRider offers unlimited travel for any 5 people within your chosen zone.

MegaRider tickets

• Young person MegaRider tickets give you 7 or 28 day’s unlimited travel in your chosen travel zone.

For children under 5 years old

Up to four children under 5 years old can travel for free when travelling with another responsible passenger.

These children can’t:

• Take a seat that paying passengers might need.
• Stay in a buggy in an unsuitable place on the bus.

Additional children will be charged as if they were aged 5 or over.

Tickets for students

Young Person tickets

• Young person tickets provide unlimited travel in your chosen travel zone. 
• DayRider and 7 / 28 day MegaRider bus tickets are available to those under age 19.

Colleges

• Some colleges provide financial support to students who meet certain criteria.
• Please contact the colleges directly to see if you qualify for their support.

UniRider tickets

• If you’re a full time student or staff member at the University of Warwick or Coventry University, you're eligible for a Warwickshire UniRider ticket. It’ll give you unlimited travel on our buses within the UniRider travel zone.
• To buy a UniRider ticket, you'll need a University Library ID Card. The name on your ID card needs to match the name on your ticket - Find out more here. 

Tickets for adults

Passengers aged 19 and above pay the full price adult fare. We have a wide range of great value tickets available.

Single tickets

• Single tickets are perfect if you only need to make one journey a day and you can now buy before you board on the Stagecoach App.

• Single tickets purchased on the bus are only valid on the date printed on the ticket.

DayRider tickets

• A DayRider ticket gives you one day’s unlimited travel in your chosen ticket zone or zones.

• Group DayRider tickets are also available. Our Group DayRider offers unlimited travel for up to any 5 people travelling together.

• You can share Adult DayRider tickets with your family and friends when you're not using them.

MegaRider tickets

• You can use your weekly bus tickets for unlimited travel in your chosen area. You can choose to buy a ticket for 7 or 28 days. 

Tickets for families and groups

Group DayRider tickets

• Our Group DayRider tickets offer unlimited travel in the Midlands for up to any 5 people travelling together.

• You can share Group DayRider tickets with your family and friends.

Concessionary bus pass holders (seniors and disabled)

• If you’re of retirement age or have a certain disability, you can apply for an English concessionary bus pass  from your local council. It will let you travel for free on our buses. 

• You can normally travel after 09:30 until 23:00 on weekdays and all day at weekends and on bank holidays. Some local councils  have different rules on when you can use your pass.

• If you need assistance from our driver, you can apply for a journey assistance card. 

Jobseekers

• We offer half price single and return tickets to jobseekers.
• To qualify, you must have a valid Jobcentre Plus Travel Discount card.

Corporate travel - Staff

• We have corporate travel plans available for companies in some areas.
• Find out how to set up a corporate travel scheme for your company. 

Guide dogs and assistance dogs can travel for free at all times.

• Other dogs and small, well-behaved animals may travel for free.  
• Animals can only travel with the driver’s permission and may not sit on the seats.

Penalty charges 

• You must have a valid ticket or pass for your journey.  
• If you don't show your ticket or pass when we ask, we may issue a penalty charge of £25.
