Never pay more than £3 for your single journey

Great value single journey bus travel capped at only £3*

Bus travel is still a great value way to get from A to B

We’re taking part in the National bus fare cap scheme in England which means that from 1st January 2025, a single journey will be capped at £3 - yes that’s less than

  • A cup of coffee from a high street cafe
  • A supermarket meal deal
  • Renting the latest movie release on your favourite streaming service

Will all single journeys cost £3?
£3 is the maximum you will pay.  Lots of our fares will cost less - in fact most single journeys across England will be less than £3, offering great value on everyday trips especially within towns and cities. For those longer journeys, the fare cap ensures you will never pay more than £3 for a single trip.
Where could your £3 take you?

*The National Bus Fare Cap Scheme is a government funded scheme, available on most singles (including Child and Student) bus journeys across England. We are participating in the £3 fare cap scheme from 1st January 2025. £3 capped fares will be available for the duration of our participation in the scheme.

The scheme is available in England only, including any areas where you can get a Stagecoach bus, except London and Greater Manchester franchised services. If your journey starts in England you’ll also be able to travel for a maximum of £3 on cross border services into Scotland and Wales. However, there are some exclusions depending on the bus routes you may be using (please see your local page for more information about excluded services).
